Ideal Powers Transition into Brexit

On Friday, 31 January the UK officially left the European Union (EU) and is now in an 11 month transition period until 31 December 2020.

During this period the UK remains in both the EU customs union and single market, and the current rules on trade, travel, and business for the UK and EU continue to apply.

What happens now?

There is no change for our customers, suppliers and business partners during the transition period as we continue to monitor developments on this. We have invested in our warehouse to increase stock holding capacity for our customers and because of where we source our goods, BREXIT will not affect our supplier’s availability. However it may cause delays of around 1-2 weeks as the products arriving will need to clear customs.

We will continue to provide our customers with the same high quality experience, products and services that we do today.

Ideal Power is planning for the end of the transition period on 31^st December 2020. At the time of writing, no trade deal between the UK and EU is in place and preparations are being made on the basis that there will be no trade deal in place for the 1^st of January 2021.
