Our 15W Open Frame Chassis AC/DC Power Supply Module 43TAC15-USxy Series is designed for powering enterprise IoT (Industrial Internet of Things) such as smart factories, smart logistics, smart power grids and smart agricultural equipment.

The 43TAC15-USxy Series open frame 15W AC/DC PSU series has been specifically developed for industrial applications, including industry 4.0. The series is well suited to industrial applications, which are now abundant with connected infrastructure, using smart machines and intelligent communication systems. These expose factories, production centres and field-based industrial, agricultural and forestry vehicles to in-depth analysis and diagnostics for greater efficiency and performance.

The 43TAC15-USxy Series provides a reliable power solution in applications where harsh conditions are a concern; featuring an MTBF (MIL-HDBK-217F @full load) of over 3,000,000 hours and meeting environmental standards IEC 60068-2-27 & 60068-2-6 (shock and vibration performance). The module is also available with either Class I or Class II protection, as required, and comprises over-voltage, overload and short circuit protection.

In addition, the series offers impressive EMI performance, meeting EN 55011, EN 55032 (Class B), FCC Part 15 and achieving electrostatic discharge, radiated immunity, fast transient, surge conducted immunity, power frequency magnetic field and damped oscillatory wave performance criteria A – making this module especially desirable in environments where electromagnetic interference concerns are a high priority.

Though hardy, the series boasts a compact design starting at just 1.5 x 1 x 0.8” (38.1 x 25.4 x 20.2mm) with versatile components, such as premium aluminium capped electrolytic capacitors offering striking thermal tolerance and extended lifecycles, together with low impedance rates that contribute to the modules overall efficiency.

The unit’s impressive performance features can be achieved through the use of these premium components. Such as the reinforced isolation voltage of 3KV AC, low leakage current of 75µA, a 5000m operating altitude, operating temperatures of between -40ºC to 70ºC (-40ºC to 100ºC with derating) and efficiency ratings of up to 89% with low standby power consumption.

The AC/DC PSU module meets IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, the new IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety standard and CE, FCC. CB cURus approvals. As well as being available with a range of output voltages from 3.3V DC to 53V DC, there is a choice of JST, molex, terminal block (2.61 x 1 x 0.62”/66.2 x 25.4 x 15.7mm) or pin (1.5 x 1 x 0.8”/38.1 x 25.4 x 20.2mm) connectors.
