The 43TxD30US series has been designed with versatility in mind; operating from -40°C through to +60°C without derating (Natural Convection) and up to +85°C with derating, coupled with an impressive operating altitude of up to 5,000 meters. They are also supplied with 3 years warranty as standard and comply with several industry standards; including cURus, CB, CE, FCC, RoHS & REACH. In addition to being approved to the latest LVD 2014/35/EU and EMC 2014/30/EU requirements, as well as the most recent EMC standards, EN 55032, EN 55011 and FCC Part 15, meeting both the conducted and Radiated Class B Levels.
Built to operate from an ultra-wide input range of 85-264V AC, 47-63Hz (120~370VDC input capability), the 43TxD30US series delivers up to 30W output power and efficiency ratings between 84 to 91.5%. This is helped by an extremely low standby power rating of 40mW. The series does not require minimum loads and offer an impressive High Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) on a full load of 3.341m hours (based on MIL-HDBK-217F calculations).
The unit’s impressive performance features are achieved through durable components boasting versatile thermal tolerance and extended lifecycles. Foremost in this design is the use of premium aluminium cap electrolytic capacitors, which are not only able to offer far greater capacitance per volume than any other type but also claim a respectable temperature range of -40 to +105°C resulting in notable long-life features. Not to forget the capacitors low impedance rates, which assist in the unit’s overall efficiency.
The 3000V AC Reinforced Insulation and the low leakage current of 100µA max with (264V AC input) is more than adequate to ensure safe operation at high altitudes with reduced barometric pressure. The product is also available with Class I (Open Frame versions only) or Class II and are Over Voltage (OVP), Overload & Short Circuit protected.
The Open Frame topologies can be supplied with a range of input and output connections options; such as JST, Molex, Terminal Blocks or Pin type (available for Class II only) and there is even the additional option of Conformal Coating for extra environmental protection.
The range covers 14 single output options ranging from 3.3 to 53V DC with the added advantage of an adjustable output voltage (within a +/-10%) through the connection of an external resistor between the trim pin and +Vout or -Vout pins (Shown in the figure. 2).
The compact dimensions of 85 x 34.6 x 19.6 mm (Open Frame topology) together with the terminal block, PCB or DIN Rail mountable options, make the 43TxD30US suited for multiple applications requiring high-quality reliable products.
