Ideal Power was established in September 2000 located in the picturesque county of Devon, on a small industrial estate near the historic town of Barnstaple.

As a small company and with our total commitment and understanding of our customer’s needs, we are able to cater to each of our customers' requirements.

We provide the right products and flexible commercial terms, and by stocking our customers’ products at our warehouse, we have become one of the most reliable suppliers for many of our clients. This has resulted in keeping our customers throughout the years, and through recommendation, has increased our portfolio and customer base despite the recent economic climate, which we are proud to say has increased our business 6 fold in the last 3 years alone.

With over 40 years combined experience in the Power industry, Ideal Power can help in providing you with either the same or equivalent products you currently use at competitive costs or by sourcing the best product to suit your application. With our 3500² warehouse facility based in the UK, we are able to hold stocks to cater for 'Just in Time' deliveries. We can also provide Low cost, Value Added services within our manufacturing facility to offer you with a complete solution.

Historically, quite a few of the larger companies have dealt direct with the Far East, and have found issues relating to language, minimum order quantities, upfront payment, extended delivery times and hidden costs, which have proved to be an uneconomical way of obtaining goods.

We pride ourselves in being able to offer a comprehensive range of ‘standard’ products from DC/DC converters, Power Supplies, Battery Chargers, Transformers through to high power rack mount industrial units. As many of the applications need custom designed products, we can provide this service from design concept through to supplying the end product.
